Mahunga, Pakahiwi, Puku, Hope, Wae Wae!

Kia Ora, sit back on your chair, we will teach you Te Reo Maori. Yesterday we learnt the names of our body parts in Maori. Firstly, we talked about what we already know, like whanau means family, kai means food and that hangi is a feast cooked underground.

  4. It was really fun but strange to do heads,shoulders,stomach,hips and knees in maori! My nana and granddad speak Finnish which is sorta like maori I think? Did you guys know that the finnish vowels are pronounced the same way.

  6. Blake will teach you how to ask 'What is the time" in Maori if you ask him??!!! He has wonderful Te Reo knowledge.
