The Amazing Rosie
Farmtastic Rosie came to our school today to teach us about dairy farming. Becky, Rosie, Farmer Tom and Matt were working on the farm and had a few arguments but in the end they were all happy. We learnt some new words like cow pai to farmtastic. We found out that there are lots of nutrients in milk. We also learnt that cows have four stomachs! We really enjoyed Rosies visit to our school, some of us even got to have cuddles!

It was fun learning with Rosie because she's awsome.
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun watching it. I learnt alot. It was cool how they sort of made it into a show rather than just having someone say lots and lots of facts, It would just get boring. :)

ReplyDeleteAfter the show we got a gift bag from Go Dairy that had a 'create your own Rosie' and a colouring page.I went straight home and built a Rosie cow.I didn't know that a cow eats then swallows it into its 2nd stomachs but burps it back up. Then swallows it into the 3rd and 4th stomach to digest it.
