Yuk! Household Waste!

Waste, waste, waste, it is filling up our landfills! Hey have you ever thought of what happens to your house hold waste? It goes in to a stinky horrible landfill.
In class we got into groups,and found our most commonly used piece of household waste. We found that our most commonly used piece of household waste was Milk bottles and Newspaper, it was good that we could recycle both of these items! You can reuse lots of things like... Milk bottles, newspaper,Plastic bags, Tomato sauce bottles and much much, more!
"REDUCE REUSE COMPOST AND RECYCLE 'CAUSE LANDFILLS ARE STINKY AND BAD FOR US ALL!!!"
We made this chart together that shows what kinds of Waste we have in our homes. The ones that are circled are the ones that we found to be the most common.

    You've got that right they're sooooooooooo smelly!! I wonder if rats can live in them? Good job class.

    In my house newspapers are the most common. We give them to my old kindy.

    In my house milk bottles are every where but luckily we can recycle them and maybe even reuse them. Waste is just terrible!

    We give all of our scraps to the pig. She eats anything. Her favorite food is donuts with cream!!! Also we go through alot of milk bottles each day because Hollie eats 3 bowls of cereal each day.

      Same with us but instead of giving our food scraps to a pig we give them to our chickens!

    Chip packets are used the most in my house.We use 18 a week and they all go in the bin.I've got an awesome idea to make that waste get smaller.We could buy a big bag of chips and each day we could put a few chips into a small container.That way we will only throw away 1 big packet instead of 18 small ones.

      We already put our chips into containers. It is a really good idea cause it saves waste.

    We try to recycle as much as we can and we feed our food scraps to the worms in the wormfarm.

    It was really fun doing reduce, reuse and recycle stuff at scool. The things we use most are milk bottles and plastic bags. P.SI was ment to spell scool like that.
